"Make Your Own Rules: Why You Shouldn't Feel Obligated to Go Home for the Holidays"

As the CEO of a large roofing company, I understand all too well the importance of taking your career into your own hands and making sure that you are doing what is best for you and your business.

Alex Hormozi, one of my favorite business influencers, recently stated a powerful quote that resonates with me at this point in my life.

He states:

“The only person forcing you to go home for the holidays is old you. If you don’t wanna go home, don’t. They’re gonna talk shit about you behind your back, and then you’ll remember you don’t give a shit what they think. You’re your own person and make your own goddamn rules."

As a CEO of a roofing company, I have found myself in the middle of many difficult situations at times. With so much on my plate it can be easy to forget to take care of myself. It's important to stay focused on what's best for me and my business when making decisions. Alex's quote serves as an important reminder that I am in charge of my decisions and have the freedom to make choices that are right for me.

It is especially important for a roofing CEO to take ownership of their decisions because these decisions can impact not only their success but also the success of their employees and customers. There may be external pressures from family or friends that could encourage me to make a decision I am not comfortable with or that may not be beneficial for me or my business.

Alex's wise words remind me not to cave into pressure from outside sources but rather stay true to myself and follow my own rules when making tough decisions - including whether or not going home for the holidays is right for me or not. Alex's quote helps us realize we are our own people with our own objectives, goals, and morals - no one else should shape our lives but us! It is so important for every single one of us (especially those of us who are running successful businesses) to stay true to ourselves when it comes down to making difficult choices instead giving in to external pressures from loved ones or family members who may not understand why we make certain decisions based on our individual goals and needs.

Ultimately it comes down to us understanding ourselves better than anyone else does - after all, we know ourselves better than anyone else does! When it comes down to making hard choices such as going home for the holidays it is perfectly okay if we decide differently than other people expect us too - as long as our decision reflects what is best for us individually then that should be respected!

Why should anyone judge us if we decide against going home just because they think so?

That's why Alex's quote is important - it serves as an empowering reminder that none other than ourselves will ever fully understand why we choose certain things over others! At the end of the day, there should never be any guilt involved in this decision; after all, each one of us deserves happiness regardless of what others may think!
