How to Stop Being Poor: Roofing Your Way to Financial Stability

My favorite business influencer has to be Alex Hormozi. His advice and insights have been invaluable to me in my journey as a CEO of a growing business. In his latest quote,

“How to not be poor: Find something that works. Do more of it.,”

He articulates a fundamental truth that applies not only to CEOs, but entrepreneurs and professionals all over the world—you will only succeed if you’re able to identify what’s working and focus your attention on it.

When I think of this quote, one word pops into mind: discipline. Discipline is key because it’s the only way to stay consistent with what works. As I reflect on my journey as a CEO, I realize that my success was directly linked to my ability to identify which strategies were working and continually work on them.

For example, when I started out in business as the owner of a tanning salon when I was 20, customer service was not an area of emphasis for my team or me. However, after testing multiple approaches, we found that customer service directly impacted our bottom line; we realized that happy customers meant more referrals and more sales for us in the long run.

This realization is what inspired us to prioritize customer service as much as any other aspect of our operation—and it has paid off handsomely ever since! Nowadays, customer service isn’t just something on our minds—it’s at the core of every decision we make from day-to-day operations down to sales pitches and marketing campaigns.

With Alex Hormozi's advice in mind, I try my best to stay focused on what works and put extra effort into applying this knowledge over time. After all, hard work is essential when it comes to achieving success in any venture; without hard work and discipline, ongoing success simply cannot be sustained over time. By understanding this simple principle and developing the necessary habits accordingly, any roofing CEO can progress toward greater profitability (and personal growth!).

For instance, by consistently providing excellent customer service, by striving for efficiency in all processes, or even by experimenting with different marketing channels or product offerings until something “clicks". Then invest effort into making sure each method is operating optimally—these are all approaches that can bring great returns with the continued application over time!

Ultimately, by drilling down into what works and dedicating additional resources towards improving upon it over time, any CEO—regardless of their industry—can ensure better results down the line! Although there may be bumps along the road as you experiment with various strategies or attempt new ideas, having an acute awareness of which approaches have been successful will provide direction throughout your journey towards greater prosperity! So for anyone aspiring towards greater heights, take this advice from Alex Hormozi; And above all else — remain disciplined! What steps can you take to start roofing your way to financial stability?
